By using TrackCoach360, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, school or organization name, and role (e.g., head coach, assistant coach).
Athlete Data
Coaches enter athlete information into the platform, which may include athlete names, grade levels, gender, primary events, race results, VDOT scores, training paces, and workout assignments. This data is entered and managed by the coach.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, operating system, and IP address.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. See Section 8 for more detail.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service, including calculating VDOT scores, generating training paces, and building workouts
- Maintain and improve the platform's features and performance
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., account verification, billing notices, feature updates)

- Within the platform: When a coach shares an athlete page, limited athlete performance data is accessible via that shared link. Coaches control what is shared.

- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Athlete Data and Student Privacy
We recognize that coaches may manage data for minor athletes. Coaches are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authorization to enter athlete information into the Service.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All athlete data is entered and managed by authorized coaches. If you are a school-based coach, you are responsible for compliance with applicable student privacy laws, including FERPA.
Athlete data entered by a coach belongs to that coach's organization. We act as a data processor on behalf of the coach.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account and athlete data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

8. Cookies and Tracking
